In this project, I’m responsible for optimizing 3D assets, organizing the scene for smooth operation across 25 locations, and ensuring that studio lighting can match the virtual environment. These tasks are crucial for presenting Sportsgirl’s spring collection effectively and cost-efficiently.
Challenges
Throughout this project, I’ve faced several significant challenges that demanded creative solutions. Balancing the desire for realistic aesthetics with the necessity of maintaining a low polygon count has been a continuous struggle. Ensuring the scene runs smoothly during rendering and effectively controlling glitches and errors presented additional technical hurdles. Moreover, staying organized in such a massive scene was crucial for maintaining efficiency and meeting project goals. Despite these challenges, I’ve been committed to finding innovative solutions and optimizing the project’s workflow to deliver outstanding results for Sportsgirl’s spring collection.

Drawing inspiration from Sportsgirl’s latest season’s style and their vision for a vibrant and colorful metaverse, our art direction centers around a captivating color palette. We’ve embraced candy pink, baby blue, and purple tones, mirroring the enchanting hues reminiscent of infrared photography. In the world-building process, we’ve crafted an island teeming with diverse vegetation and whimsical mushrooms, creating a rich and visually striking environment that perfectly complements Sportsgirl’s unique aesthetic.
